Central's Plus Ten endorsement adds 10 extra coverages to your Homeowner's Policy for one low premium.
Almost anyone could benefit from this endorsement since it provides a broad range of specialized coverages tailored to meet the needs of today's active households. For example, the parent of a young entrepreneur would benefit from the peace of mind afforded by the coverage for Incidental Business Pursuits.
These are the coverages that are included:
- Freezer/Refrigerator Contents - Central will pay up to $500 when the food spoilage is caused by a covered power failure, off premises.
- Credit Card - The limit of liability for lost or stolen credit and fund transfer cards, as well as counterfeit money, is increased to a maximum of $1,500 per occurrence.
- Other Structures - If there are no other building structures (such as a detached garage) located on your property exceeding $500 in value, Central will add the limit shown on your policy for "Other Structures" (Coverage B) to the limit shown for the Dwelling (Coverage A) - providing you with an additional layer of protection.
- Personal Injury - Subject to certain exceptions, coverage is provided up to $10,000 per occurrence to protect you from liability due to Personal Injury to others. "Personal injury" means injury arising out of one or more of the following offenses: false arrest, detention or imprisonment, or malicious prosecution; libel, slander or defamation of character; or invasion of privacy, wrongful eviction or wrongful entry.
- Damage to Property of Others - The limit for this policy coverage is increased from $500 to $1,000 per occurrence.
- Debris Removal - Coverage under your policy is expanded to include reasonable expense incurred for the removal of trees, shrubs, plants or lawns up to $300.
- Loss Of Use - Provides coverage in the event a civil authority prohibits you from use of your residence for any reason. Also provides coverage if your residence is made uninhabitable as a result of a power outage caused by a peril insured against.
- Stolen Keys - If due to an actual theft of your residential keys or property from the residence premises, Central will reimburse you up to $100 for repairing or replacing locks or cylinders of entrances. The locks must be of like kind and quality less allowances for depreciation, and must be replaced within 72 hours after the loss.
- Home Computer Coverage - Central will pay up to $3,000 for damages to computer equipment and recording or storage media used with the equipment (provided it is principally located on your residence premises), regardless of whether or not you use it in business.
- Incidental Business Pursuits - Coverage under the policy is extended to incidental business pursuits of children 18 years of age or less residing in your household.
While some companies would make a separate charge to add each of these coverages, Central's Plus Ten easily allows you to package them under one endorsement and at one low price.
Plus Ten - It makes your Central Homeowner's Policy an even better value!
The policy coverages described above are in the most general terms and are subject to the actual policy exclusions and conditions. For specific coverage details and policy exclusions, refer to the policy itself or contact a Central Agent.
