Auto Plus

The package of coverages includes:

• $2,500 Auto Death Benefit for the insured or their spouse if killed while occupying a private passenger auto or when struck by a vehicle while a pedestrian.
• Doubled Medical Payments Coverage for any insured when injured in an accident while wearing a seat belt or while occupying a vehicle equipped with passive restraints. (Not available in Michigan or Virginia.)
• Coverage up to $250 for the loss of clothing and personal luggage (including contents) for an insured or his family members. The items must be in a covered auto and loss must be caused by a peril listed in the endorsement.
• Coverage up to $100 for Towing and Labor Costs incurred each time a covered auto is disabled, if labor is performed at the place of disablement.
• Waiver of Collision deductible if there is a Collision loss to a covered auto while it is in the charge of an insured, legally parked and unoccupied. The total damages must exceed $250 before the Collision deductible is waived.
• Reimbursement up to $30 per day (for a maximum of $900) for rental of a substitute auto. The covered auto must be withdrawn from normal use for more than 24 hours and the loss must be caused by collision or covered under Part D - Coverage For Damage To Your Auto of the policy.
• Replacement of an air bag if it deploys without having been involved in an accident.
• Reimbursement for loss of use to a rental car while it is out of service following an accident (not to exceed 30 days or $1,000). (Not available in Michigan or New York.)
