The Personal Inland Marine Coverage is normally endorsed to the homeowners policy. It may be written on a stand-alone policy, if necessary.

Coverage can be written on a scheduled individual item basis or on a "blanket" basis. Loss settlement is based upon the type of personal property that is being covered. Coverage can also be settled on an agreed value basis.
