CENTRAL REGIONAL OFFICE

Van Wert, Ohio

In October of 1961 the Central Regional Office was established in Van Wert, Ohio to service agents throughout the midwest. In the same year, All America Insurance Company was incorporated and the Central Regional Office sold the first All America policy to golfer Jack Nicklaus.

Though just one floor away from the Home Office in Van Wert, Ohio, the Central Regional Office is an autonomous operation staffed by approximately 60 employees serving the states of Illinois, Indiana, and Ohio. The average tenure of employment with Central is over 15 years.

The first Regional Manager was Herb Kephart, followed by P.W. Purmort, Everett Raabe, Roy Souders, Jr., Edd Buhl, F.W. Purmort, III, and George Gress. The region's oldest agency is the Purmort Brothers Agency in Van Wert, Ohio, having been appointed in 1876.

Comprised of approximately 136 agents, the region will write over $150 million in written premiums in 2006 - 48% Commercial Lines and 52% Personal Lines. The average written premium per agency with Central is $1.1 million.

NORTHEASTERN REGIONAL OFFICE

Waltham, Massachusetts

The Northeastern Region was formed in 1975 by consolidating the branch offices in Manhattan, New York and Waltham, Massachusetts. Vince Stack was the first Regional Manager of the consolidated offices. Buzz Harrison took over the reins in 1979, followed by Dana Andjus in 1990, and Jim Glasser in 2006.

Approximately 30 employees serve agents in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and New York. The Northeastern region's approximately 75 agencies write over $63 million in premiums, 73% in Commercial lines.

The Region is proud of the longevity and experience of employees. Over half of the employees in the region have over 15 years experience with Central! On the agency side, the region's oldest agency is the Quincy Agency of Wellesley, Massachusetts, appointed in March, 1949.

SOUTHEASTERN REGIONAL OFFICE

Alpharetta, Georgia

Central's largest Regional Office, the Southeastern Regional Office, began in 1937 as a Service Office. The Atlanta Branch Office opened in 1957 under the direction of Chet Barnes. Roy Lein managed the Region for 22 years, followed by the present Regional Manager, Keith Moore.

Approximately 70 employees serve over 200 agencies in the states of Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. The region writes over $200 million in premiums. The Southeastern Region writes a balanced book of commercial lines and personal lines with the average agency in the Southeastern Region writing approximately $1.2 million with Central. The Julian T. Burke agency of Alexandria, VA. is the region's oldest agency, having been appointed in 1929.

Seventeen of our employees average at least 20 years of service with Central.

SOUTHWESTERN REGIONAL OFFICE

Irving, Texas

The Southwestern Regional Office was established in Dallas, Texas in 1952. The first Regional Manager was Johnny Carter, with Bob Bray taking over in 1960 and current Regional Manager, Chuck Wassberg taking the reigns in 1981.

Central entered the state of Texas in 1920, followed by Oklahoma in 1930, Arizona in 1940, New Mexico in 1997, and Colorado in 2005. The oldest agency is Steed & Associates located in Greenville, Texas, having been appointed in February, 1956.

The region serves approximately 62 agencies. The regional philosophy is to concentrate service and capacity to a small number of quality agencies. The average Central written premium per agency is over $2.2 million. The Southwest region boasts the largest agency in the company with production of over $14 million with Central.

Of the 50 employees, 10 percent have been with Central over 30 years and 55 percent have been with Central between 20 and 30 years.
